Stanley STHT12165-8 5 Smooth Plane Wooden Handle 14"

The Stanley - 5 inches Smooth Plane has a kidney-shaped hole in the lever cap that aids in keeping the cutter in place. Handles and knobs are made up of high-impact polymer that is contoured and polished. The 5 inches Smooth Plane is adjustable for cut depth. It has cutter alignment and is suitable for end grain and general fine finishing. The Smooth Plane is constructed with a grey cast-iron foundation with precision-ground sides and bottom.

The Stanley - 5 inches Smooth Plane is coated with an epoxy coating which provides it long-lasting protection. Its Precision-ground cutter edges are made up of hardened and tempered steel. It is frequently used for planing end grain and extend to many other planing jobs. Finger rest at the front of the plane provides comfortable and easy control on the plane.
